Where We Serve

In 2017, we were appointed to serve as missionaries with United World Mission as part of the Theological Education Initiative (TEI).  The mission of TEI is to do theological education outside the West, where the church is growing fastest and has the greatest need. Check out the video below for more information about TEI.

Than will be teaching at the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology (EGST).

EGST was founded in 1997 by the Ethiopian Kale Heywet Church (EKHC), the Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus (EECMY) and the Evangelical Churches Fellowship of Ethiopia (ECFE). Together, they represent virtually all of the Protestant evangelical churches in Ethiopia.  Birthed out of the growing need for contextually relevant and affordable graduate level theological education, this joint ownership is an excellent example of partnership and cooperation in Ethiopia by brining ecumenical diversity into unity.

EGST exists to equip Christ-like women and men through theological and related studies and to stimulate research for the service of Church and society in Ethiopia and beyond.

We are excited to join in with what God is doing in Ethiopia.
